"Daemonic" doesn't just sound cool, it's rife with multiple meanings.  Firstly, the "a" in "Daemonic" isn't put there just make it look archaic, it is layered with meaning.  "Demon" and "Daemon" are similar but different words with similar but different meanings.  Both trace back to ancient Greek sources, and both refer to dark, mysterious, and ethereal spirits.  However, where "Demon" refers specifically to an evil spirit with malevolent intentions, a "Daemon" is either neutral or benevolent and is often trying to help humans achieve their goals - just like this site is trying to help you find the computing hardware you need!
     Further to this distinction, the term "daemon" also has a double-meaning.  In computing, a modern usage of  "daemon" refers to a process or program that runs in the background of your software.  So, you see, it's a bit of a double-entendre!
